Chi-Hi Wraps Up Another Great Homecoming Week
It was another homecoming week for the record books at Chi-Hi!
The Mighty Cardinals notched a homecoming victory with a dominating 35-0 win over Eau Claire North. The victory also moved the team a little closer to qualifying for the playoffs.
We would like to thank all the alumni and friends who attended the game and took part in the other homecoming festivities this September. It was yet another example of what makes the Chippewa Falls community such a wonderful place
What else is happening at Chi-Hi?

In other news, this school year is the first time Chi-Hi is using a “block” scheduling format. Students now attend just four classes per day, with each period lasting an hour and 20 minutes. The schedule is divided between A and B days, with students having a different slate of classes on each day.
See what students and faculty have had to say about the new format so far. It’s certainly a change from the schedule students used in years past!
On October 7, the Chi-Hi Band hosted the 18th Annual Music Along the Chippewa, a great event that has become one of the largest shows in western Wisconsin. The event featured high school bands from throughout the region, along with an outstanding performance from the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Marching Band.
On October 16, the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District hosted a Strategic Plan Community Roll Out. District staff shared their plans for moving our schools and community forward. All alumni and community members were invited to attend and take part in the discussion. The event was live-streamed on the district's website and on Facebook live. (Scroll down to the Oct. 16 FB live post to watch the broadcast.)
As you can see, there’s always something exciting happening in Chippewa Falls! We invite you to visit our district calendar and check out some of our upcoming events.
